Summer Enrichment Opportunities

Students,

Planning your future is not something you do once but it’s a continuous process. Whether you are uncertain about going to college or just need reassurance you’re on the right track, taking the ACT is in integral part of this process. The district is pleased to announce it will be administering the ACT on March 19, 2013, to ALL 11th grade students in the district, at no cost to the student. The ACT includes four curriculum-based tests that measures students’ educational achievement in English, mathematics, reading and science. 12th grade students WILL NOT BE eligible to participate in this testing opportunity.

    CROSS COUNTRY TRYOUTS
     
    Tryouts for Maverick and Lady Maverick Cross Country Team will be Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18 at GHS from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.  You must have CURRENT physical to tryout.  Tryouts are open to all upcoming 7th through 12th graders.

    Tryouts for Maverick Baseball Team will be Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 at GHS beginning at 3:45 PM. Tryouts are open to all upcoming 9th through 12th graders currently enrolled at Germantown Middle or Germantown High School.  Wear proper attire and bring a CURRENT copy of a physical to tryouts.

    Lady Maverick Volleyball tryouts will be held Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22 from 3:45 to 5:45 at GHS.  Be sure to wear appropriate attire and bring a copy of a CURRENT physical.

    LADY MAV SOFTBALL TRYOUTS
     
    Practice/Tryouts for SLOW PITCH Softball will be on July 10th at 10 AM.

    Tryouts and Practices will be held at the GHS Softball Field and are open to all upcoming 7th - 12th grade students.  Be sure to bring proper equipment and a copy of a CURRENT physical.
